Still, when I review the arc of my life I can’t say there was more of these qualities in my past then in the present. In fact, I experience more of them today but maybe that is just my situation. I believe they were more prevalent because society was not as accepting of such behavior. Plus, today our “leadership” gives people permission not only to be totally self-serving and dismissive of law and order, but also to project the cause of their personal failures onto others.
